Beginning The Process

Coming to therapy for the first time can feel a little uncertain — especially if you don’t know what to expect. That’s completely normal.

At Grounded Space, I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can show up just as you are. Whether you’re feeling anxious, flat, overwhelmed, or simply unsure where to begin — you’re welcome here.

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out. You’ll have space to talk about what’s been going on, what’s brought you here, and what you’d like support with — even if you’re not quite sure yet. All feelings are welcome, and there’s no “right” way to begin.

My role is to offer a calm, grounded presence — to help you feel safe enough to soften, explore, and begin making sense of what’s unfolding inside.

Session Info:

  • First session: Usually 90 minutes

  •  Ongoing sessions: Typically 60 minutes

  •  In-person (Crows Nest, Sydney) or online (Australia-wide & globally)

  •  Fees: Out-of-pocket rates are in line with what you’d typically pay for a Medicare-covered therapist, though I do not currently accept Mental Health Care Plans.

If you’re not sure whether this is the right fit, I also offer a free 15-minute phone call so we can connect first and see what’s needed.

There are parts of us that long for change…

and parts that are scared to be seen.
